Andreas Kloos

After graduating as director Andreas Kloos was assistant at the Berliner Ensemble and the Opera Bremen at first.

Since 2002 he directs acting productions and music theatre at various theatres, i.e. Theater Kassel, Vorarlberger Landestheater Bregenz, Altonaer Theater Hamburg, Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landestheater, Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Landestheater Detmold, Landesbühne Wilhelmshaven, Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern and Bremer Shakespeare Company.

His production of “Fat Pig” by Neil LaBute was invited to the North German Theatre Festival at Deutsches Theater Göttingen in 2007 and won the Herzlieb Kohut Award.

He realised several prison theatre projects in cooperation with the delinquent care in Bremen. Next to his occupation with the theatre he works as acting teacher, writer and coach.
