And about the people in the city.
Everyone can take part.
The project happens in the city.
And also on the internet.
The project asks questions about the city.
The city is imagined as a person.
What does the city look like
if the city is a person?
Participants think about this.
They ask themselves:
We people are the city.
So who are we?
What is important to us?
The project first took place in Fulda.
The reason was a city anniversary.
Later the project was made again.
For example in Nuremberg.
The Brachland Ensemble talks to people.
For example in their homes.
Or in pubs.
Or anywhere in the city.
There are conversations and observations.
There are numbers and stories.
All of this is collected.
From this, a game is created.
The game is interactive.
Interactive means:
The audience joins in.
The viewers help make decisions.
They decide:
Who are we?
What does the word “we” mean?
What does our city look like?
At the end, there is a picture.
The picture shows
what the people said.
The concept and direction were by
Dominik Breuer,
Maria Isabel Hagen,
and Gunnar Seidel.
The project was created with partners
in Fulda and Nuremberg.
It was supported by cities
and by foundations.
